Generally, the best practice for assigning names to pieces is to make them easy to pronounce (or fun to say, as in bifferbubberz).
So Sloppy Knight would work better.
I concur. (Actually, I'd give a higher priority to giving names that evoke some sort of visual imagery, but that still makes Sloppy Knight work better.)

Would "Forfniqbibade" be a better name for the Sloppy Knight?
I only have tested it against the Fabulous FIDEs using Play-Test Applet. Though that was back in 2022, I forgor the results.
I think making an Interactive Diagram would be helpful here in multiple ways:
- Giving an illustration of the setup.
- Creating clear (non-ASCII) illustrations of the moves.
- Testing for balance and practicality.
A game full of slip pieces is intriguing, though.
This is an interesting theme.
