Chess Variant Inventors

This is a list of all the Chess variant inventors we have in our database. The number of games we have by them is counted in terms of game pages, Game Courier presets, Zillions-of-Games files, Java scripts, and Jocly scripts. Since several of these counts may duplicate the same game, and this script doesn't test for duplicates, the maximum of these counts is taken as the best estimate of how many Chess variants the person has invented. Of course, this count could be off if some pages mention several games together. This list is sorted by the maximum number of games invented, breaking ties by favoring inventors with more pages for their games altogether. Note that this script measures quantity, not quality. It can tell you who the most productive Chess variant inventors on this site are, but it cannot tell you who the best are.
