Yeah, I did notice some similar games, but for this one I kept things as close to orthodox Chess as I could while keeping the starting area modified.

I have now published this. The board bears some similarity to Bruce Mills' 40-square Diamond Chess, my 41-square Fusion Diamond 41, and Derek Nalls' larger Diamond Chess, but it comes closer to being an adaptation of Chess than these others do.
