This setup isn't perfect, but suppose you did several different games
like this. The average values, especially if the individual values in each
test board agreed significantly, should give a decent start. Also, if you
did some with all the pieces, some missing 2/side, some 4/side, etc; this
would give you a sort of quick check [though it's not all that fast,
doing all that work, and I don't have a clear idea on how to choose the
test games] on the effects of density on various piece types, no?
