(I hate plastic pieces.) So it seems there is actually plenty of choice: some of these pieces are very different from normal Chess pieces. As for 'Super Chess': from the description on his website, it seemed to me that Super Chess pretty much encompasses any variant, and is synonymous for 'Fairy Chess' in general.
