S. Sirotkin from Russia sent in January 2000 an email with this variant.

Before the new year (at the end of December 1999) my daughter and I (five years old) have begun to play this minivariant.

The game is played on a board 5 by 6 of squares. Each player has - 1 King, 1 Queen, 1 Rook, 1 Knight, 1 Bishop, 5 Pawns.

Opening setup: White - King c1; Queen b1; Rook e1; Knight a1; Bishop d1; Pawn a2, b2, c2, d2, e2.

Black - King c6; Queen d6; Rook a6; Knight e6; Bishop b6; Pawn a5, b5, c5, d5, e5.

The game is played as orthodox chess, but with the following changes to its rules:

It is similar to other minivariants, but here the king and queen are rearranged.
