You are really good!

This should be fixed now. I uploaded some temporary modified versions of the betza.txt include file yesterday for the purpose of debugging Lev's problem (and in the end removed all diagnostic print statements again, after I concluded the problem was not in the code there). But I did this from the betza.txt version I had on my PC at home.

Now it turns out that this version no longer works, because Fergus changed something in the Game Courier, and then edited the betza.txt on the CVP server himself to make the compensating change. So the version I had on my PC, to which we reverted, did not have this compensating change, and no longer worked in this new version of Game Courier. Fortunately I stumbled on Fergus' comment to the "Game-code generation" article where he describes which change this was, and re-applied it.

@H.G.
The following error message appears in the Game code for Game Courier:

Is there a solution for this? Thanks in advance.

'Queens' on Game Courier!

Nice! At first I thought the positions of the Rooks would have them dominating the game in fighting each other, but a couple of rounds with the ID showed me that that's just not the case. It makes for an interesting game.

Trivial side note: In Shogi, the Q3 is known as the Lion Dog, the B2 is the Flying Dragon, and the R2 is the Violent Ox. Call them what you will for this (and I wouldn't change it, personally), but I think that's worth noting in the text (in the Notes section, if not elsewhere).
