The problem was with the rendering method, not the pieces. The Table method
for rendering hexagonal boards uses auto-generated tiles that it stores in
certain directories. It will reuse tiles that have already been generated
and generate any more that it needs. The problem is that the directories
for storing tiles did not have the right permissions for Game Courier to
write to them. This is a consequence of our move to a new site.
Permissions were not retained in the transfer. The directories in question
had permissions set to 755. I just set them to 777, and now it creates the
rest of the tiles it needs. There appear to be some glitches in the
appearance of the board, but rather than work on fixing this, I have
chosen to deprecate this rendering method for hexagonal boards. This
method has no significant advantage over the PNG and JPG methods for
rendering hexagonal boards. It exists only because I created it before the
superior methods of rendering hexagonal boards. So I recommend changing the
preset to use the PNG or JPG method.
