There are many pieces, wich are 'modern inventions'. Actually, only modern pieces here are zebra and squirrel. Maybe, princess and chanselor are also not very old, but they appeared in some games, wich are considered as 'historical': no one knows, who are thier inventor. But other pieces, wich are 'modern' appeared in very old games.
