How does one go about publishing one's game on Game Courier?  Can I start from scratch, or is it necessary to have a preset and edit it?  Do I just leave to the editors?  It doesn't appear to be as cut-and-dry as putting things on the Pages is.

I'm not sure if one can get a clean slate preset; it's best to find a game somewhat similar to yours and edit that preset into one for your game. It's fairly easy to get a preset setup to play most games, but getting the preset to check rules can be more difficult; most presets available here don't check rules (as far as I know).

I do not speak Russian. If you speak English, it would be best to use English. You cannot move in a game until it is your turn. I have added lang="en" to the page so that Google translate will know what language to translate the page from.

I believe that the Russian user named  Сергей Бугаевский is boycotting the open invitations since he accepts them all indiscriminately choosing to always drive the black side and after the first player makes his move he never responds. I suggest forbidding him access to Game Courier.

My move in the game and I can not make a move. Writes an error. Help

I think he is honestly trying to play the games, but he doesn't understand how things work, because the site is in English. I'm hoping that Vitya Makov can step in and explain how things work to him. I've also noticed that his userid begins with a capital letter in the Person table, but it is all lowercase in the GameLogs table. I wonder if this is causing some bug that prevents him from moving.

Please do not accept my invitations for playing Symmetric Chess.

That is an example of rule enforcement. You are being required to make a legal move.

I tried making the same move in your game of Unicorn Great Chess, and it let me make it without saying the move was illegal. I only got as far as the preview, since I can't send a move in your name. Once you get to the preview, you have to enter your password and click the Send button.

I click the preview. And there is an error message. Tell me in which column should I send my password?

In the image shown below, it is the field that says "Password:".

I copied the log to your game, changed the userids to some of my own, and made the same move you are trying to make without any problem. The one discrepency I see in the error message you are reporting is that it identifies the turn as 2 instead of 1. I don't know why it would say that, since this is the first turn of the game. It's very strange that you are getting errors like this. In each case, it says you are trying to move from an empty space, as though you have already made the move and are trying to make it again. Whenever I try to make the same moves, I don't have the same problem. Are you able to make a screencast of what you are doing and email it to me?

First of all, you should stop accepting open invitations until you have learned the proper functioning of making moves in Game Courier.

By other part, what happens in your Opulent Chess game versus Greg? Why do not you make there the second move, if you could already do the first?
