I played Metapontum with Hans Frekle many years ago. It was a very
interesting game, and it had a very interesting effect on the way I viewed
the world. For example, when approaching a busy intersection in my car, I
would imagine the most efficient way for ALL of the cars to get through
the intersection, instead of simply trying to be the first one through.
There are very few games which encourage co-operation to this degree.
Beyond being an interesting and fun game to play, I think this game helps
to improve the way one thinks.
Thank you Hans.
