There is no description of Malaysian chess (it have interesting rules, wich replaced pawn promotion), but it was mentoided somewhere. I also read somewhere about regional Indian variant, wich have modern bishop on ferze's (queen's!) place! It's probably first game in history of chess, wich replaced original piece with it's rider! And these are probably not only missed regional variants. Other, probably, are identical to variants described in CVP, but they might have interesting rules, wich makes them quite original games! Do someone know, is there any website, wich describes more regional chess variants? Edit Form You may not post a new comment, because ItemID Regionalvariants does not match any item.
