Play Janggi (Korean Chess) online with Game Courier

Korean Chess, officially known as Janggi, is the regional variant of Korea. It is closely related to Chinese Chess and may be played with all the same equipment, but it is played by different rules, and most pieces move differently. Game Courier lets you play Janggi by online correspondence with other people around the world. It enforces the rules, allows Knights and Elephants to be positioned on the first move, warns you when you are in check, and notifies you when the game ends in a checkmate or by the mutual opposition of Generals causing a draw. There is no stalemate in this game, since it is legal to pass. Here's a selection of some of the graphics options available for this game.
