The aproach in value between rook on one side and knight and bishop on the other is what I find appealing in this game :)!

Well, the '16' is obviously a mistake, but the given values are not completely unreasoable for 12-target leapers. These are normally just slightly below a Rook. And note that the Rook here is devaluated, because it no longer has mating potential due to the extra corner squares.

I think the definition of the two new pieces is rather ambiguous as the are described virtually as knight-wazir and knight-ferz but it is also said in both cases that they cover 16 squares which would be wrong, the above mentioned cover only 12 square. If knight-wazir and knight-ferz it is mostly known that they worth around 4.5 each. Not the values plunged into the article. But who knows my understanding maybe off. Has anyone understood it better?
