If you already have a queen the board and one of your pieces makes it over
to the other side to where they can bring back a piece, can you make a
piece on the board another queen?

quick answer, pawn can promote to queen rook bishop knight, doesn't
matter what is on the board i.e. you can have 2 queens ( yes, even more)
