Yes, the correct rule is 'no stopping if the piece has another jump, but you may take it in a direction that has fewer'. The add-partial command in Zillions means you must continue with a move of the indicated type with the same piece if possible, otherwise your turn is finished.

Now I made another variant where displacement capture is also allowed (but you still must jump if possible).

I mean... uh... Why don't you allow displacement capture on the edge of the board? Or have a ring board as in Jumping Chess?

But, really, you should have different capturing for different pieces, or the game is monotonous. 75% of a game is the capturing.
