I have decided to return to inventing Chess Variants. I have one particular variant in mind right now: Reiwa Dai Shogi, which is basically Dai Shogi with better piece balancing.
The historical Dai Shogi had all the pieces of Chu Shogi and added 8 weak pieces with weak promotions on a 15x15 boarad, while also getting rid of the Chu Lion trading rules, resulting in a long-lasting drawish game.
For this new variant, I'm adding straight Knight jumps (L-shape leaps like the Knight in Chess, which are almost always part of a Lion move in the historical variants) and probably one other move type.
