Hello! The zillions link is misspeled. I't is kamIl not kamEl. I copyed the path, paste it on the explorer adress bar, changed the E to an I and pressed enter... It worked fine! It is really only the link that is wrong, 'cause the file is there. Please correct it. Thank you. Nuno Cruz
How about a zillions for this one? :-) anyone wants to take the challange?
can anyone tell me how to implement this on zillions? :-)
It could be introduced an page on your historical variants pages about the diferent nuances of medieval chess, its evolution and particular rules to this or that country through the centurys, wich are now not in use or used diferently... :-)
The rules of chess in medieval europe (king's leap, 'passar bataglia', free castling, etc) could also have a page of their, own explaining it's evolution...
This piece is called a CALIPH by chess problemists, as you can see in http://www.ktn.freeuk.com/9a.htm#(3). A suitble name for it's Arabe origins (Wazir + Alfil). Also there, you can check out some other compound piece names made from joining 2 simple pieces...
I will not vote untill you have Wildbeest chess on the list ;-)
What an interessing game! One that I will probably try to convince my friends to play with! :-)
I do like this game, although the Cavalier is a very 'irregular piece'. I propose to replace it's movement by the one of the Croocked Bishop! This would produce a very enjoyable game, don't you agree? :-)) The other pieces, I believe, are well balanced for 10x10 board, and the fact that Knights depart from the 2nd row turns them more valuable in the opening and during the rest of the game (a problem with other 10x10 board variants that place them on the 1st row!). Please comment me on this to: [email protected]
This game is really something! To me the best large variant of chess! WHY is it not a recongnized variant yet???? :-)
