Javier,

Interesting concept, how is the web site coming along - have you got many
players signed up.

Its good to see the concept of synchronicity coming more to the fore.

Good luck with the game.

Have a look at VEN Chess, on this site, for an alternative view on
simultaneous movement.

Ven Chess. Moves are written down by both players before making the moves simultaneously. (8x8, Cells: 64) [All Comments] [Add Comment or Rating]

Thanks for the feedback Michael - I rated it excellent to generate some
comment, it obviously worked for the wrong reason. I am now aware of the
unwritten protocol.

What did you think of the game anyway despite my little faux pas?

An excellent game that anybody with a sense of adventure, a chess set, a
piece of paper, a pencil and an opponent can play.

Gives the effect of simultaneous play. The alternating movement phase
gives a whole new dynamic that is not available in ordinary chess.

The fear of a Vengeance move can stop your strategy in it's tracks.

Find that pen/paper/friend, and let me know how you get on.

Good Luck

Graham
