Game Courier supports many different games. Here is one picked at random:
Medusa Shogi - A Shogi variant of Pillars of Medusa, which is based on Turkish Great Chess.

Siberian Chess

If you had a Java-capable browser, you could play Siberian Chess here.
Keys "s"=save "l"=load "b"=back once

Chess from the Altai region of Siberia. Captures are by jumping.

I have not implemented all the fine points yet. Reserves still in the fortress can capture, to squares inside and outside the fortress, and I waived the requirement that they be placed at the next opportunity. I found this didn't make much difference.

There are bugs in the program. If it locks, hit "restart".

Chess Variants

These are simple illustrations rather than strong opponents.
