Keys "s"=save "l"=load "b"=back once
You are White. Each side
must protect one pawn and one other piece secretly assigned to be royal,
in addition to the king.
Your royal pawn does not promote. Black balls mark units
known by the opponent not to be royal. Ralph Betza, 1978.

This game promotes aggressive openings, and, by randomly assigning royal stature to two pieces besides the king, this variant also forces a player to develop new opening strategies in order to protect those 'royal assets'. | View [*] |
