Yeshiah Zalman's chess variant which uses stacked boards.
NARDESHIR uses standard FIDE Chess rules except for
- The use of 3 stacked chess boards for play and the result that
- All moves are Trigonomic.
- Notation is modified with the addition of level# (a knight could open with N2b3 instead of Nc3)
- Pawns must reach the opposite board (as well as rank) for promotion.
