Pixelpusher: Chancellor chess

Here, the first applet ever that plays Chancellor Chess, a chess variant from about one century ago.

You can play the variant with, or without the Bishops Conversion Rule:

The bishops conversion rule

This rule, invented by Carlos Cetina, states that one of the players bishops may and must make a one-step orthogonal move as its first move.

This only works with Java enabled browsers.
