Clash of Command. Chesslike game with pieces that change and leave behind other pieces on special board. (Cells: 41) [All Comments] [Add Comment or Rating]

If a piece reaches its last rank, does it have to transform to a Slicer?

Thanks for the kind words. 'Official' Erratum: The win condition should state: 'A player wins at the end of their turn if their opponent has no Commanders on the board.' So, if you capture all Commanders on the board with one move of your Slicer, you win even though you have no Commanders left.

Great game! A must try, and good enough to be distributed commercially!

Good game. One question: What happens when a slicer captures all remaining commanders in a single move? Is it a draw, a win or a loss for the player capturing the commanders with the slicer?
