Uh, hi? Um, the reason the previous comments in Joe's Garage are missing
is because there's an apostrophe in the title. With luck, using the
underscore will correct that problem. If not, well, this is hardly undying
prose, now, is it?

The premise of the garage is simple. It's a place to bring broken games,
to see if they can be fixed. It's an open invitation to anyone who wants
to come in, look around, and maybe just set a spell. But you can bring in
your own [or others', I suppose] games for a tune up, to get them running
better, or maybe even a complete re-build into something else. I should
have 3 games in there: SpaceWar, goChess, and Chess on Two Boards. Now,
John Smith stopped by and completely rebuilt SpaceWar into something quite
a bit different, so there's no real limits on what you can do with
whatever you find in the garage. Again, there's an open invitation to stop
in: http://chessvariants.wikidot.com/the-games-garage

SpaceWar has been worked on. The idea behind goChess, that of a
build-it-yourself chess army, has been previously discussed here. That
leaves Chess on Two Boards [Co2B], recently mentioned by David Paulowich as
somewhat of a 4D game. Given that there is something of a discussion on
higher-D chess developing right now, I'll move the next part of this
discussion over there, to see if anyone comes up with a fix or two. If so,
we go to the garage, install 'em, and give 'er a test drive.
