aha. lawson pointed out a typo in the url for this page, but nobody ever fixed it. roger hare's page is still up. i would assume then that there is a similar typo in the chushogi page.

I notice that the same character is used for 'cho' in both Shincho and Honcho, but in the first it is translated as bear and in the second as boar. An error in transmission of the English names, surely? Which is correct?
