Game Courier Games Logs[Subject Thread] [Add Response]

There are two bugs in relation with game logs.

1. If you enter "Chess" in the Game Filter of the Data Search Engine
[/play/pbmlogs/index.php], then are displayed not
only the Chess logs but also every other whose Game Name includes the Chess
word.

2. It is not possible to view any game move by move starting from the
initial setup because the position is skipped automatically toward the
last.

That's incorrect. You probably left the wildcard when you entered the word Chess. The pattern "*Chess" will show any game whose name ends in "Chess", but "Chess" only shows Chess.

I'll look into this later. It is late right now.

True. As you say, I was leaving the wildcard(*). The Database Search Engine
works rightly.

OK. Let's see the second bug tomorrow. It's very important to fix it.

Okay, the bug is fixed. To add multiple submit buttons to the same form
without breaking the ability to move with the mouse, I renamed some submit
buttons to submit2. But I didn't copy the value of submit2 to submit early
enough, and this caused the bug when the value of submit was empty.

OK... Great!

Why, when you review a game, the players name appear in the respective
fields alternating successively between "White" and "Black"? Is there
any way to fix it?

It's half-fixed. I'll continue working on it later.

Okay, it is now fixed. I checked it against games it is currently my turn
in, and it was accurate.

I have already checked the improvement. Thanks!
