Thanks for the questions. The knight is a normal knight. This game simply replaces rooks and bishops with their associated promoted cousins from Shogi (Dragon King and Dragon Horse).
Yes, they can capture with their Shogi-like move.
Of interest to me is the idea of doubling bishops, or throwing in the queen to have a 3-power diagonal power strike.
