I second Racing Kings and Seirawan Chess.

Info:

  1. Seirawan Chess is playable against Pychess’ Fairy-Stockfish.
  2. Racing Kings is playable on Lichess, and therefore is a) very popular variant with many games played and b) supported by Lichess’ Stockfish.

And:

Games in variants available on Lichess can be downloaded here.

Please help. Where to write morphing, after which line and with which symbols, after or before, I should embed it? https://www.chessvariants.com/play/pbm/play.php?game=Different+Pawns+Random+Chess&settings=diffpawnrandom-coded&submit=Edit

I’ve recently seen a YouTube video with game between Levy Rozman (aka GothamChess) without his Knights VS Hikaru Nakamura with 7 Knights. Hikaru won, but it’s partially because he played by White and Levy blundered his Bishop on 4th move.

Maybe Bishops’ pair & 2 Rooks are better than 2 Queens.

Frog/Hannibal/Waffle chess with Gryphon/Manticore and falcon. Expansions of Kevin Pacey's Frog/Hannibal/Wafle Chess. (9x10, Cells: 90) [All Comments] [Add Comment or Rating]

Woah, somehow you got it!!!

really one page instead of six is what I suggested much time ago. Well done!

Only flaw is that some pieces are linked to Piececlopedia while others aren’t.

12 Miles for Glory. Members-Only Pawn promotes to common pieces, but returns to turn into stronger ones. (8x8, Cells: 64) [All Comments] [Add Comment or Rating]

One of the best games on your comments’ wall, both v1 and v2. You can add Astras (XBetza AH) to the corners and you’ll get v3:)
Or not Astras, but Indices{Dragons} (FafafsfF) to Whites and Oxen (nDafafsfW) to Blacks.

Rational suggestion: what if external links will use the same font as the main text (Literata) but still be underlined twice as now? This increases text’s readability in some cases.

Is it possible to program games on unusually shaped boards if these can be translated into square ones, and movements can be coded with alternating through morph, so technically it’s a square variant with different visual representation? The best examples are Pentagonal Chess, Rocket Chess, Stair Chess, many Koval’s variants and more.

Not sure what you mean here; this page lists what seems to be all non‐english pages in the database, in case that's what you're looking for; otherwise please be more specific

The last five pages (in Chinese) in that list are exactly what I mean — member submitted items rather than game pages .
