Triochess

Triochess is a chess variant from around 1975 for three players. Object of the game is to make the player sitting at the right: the mated player and the third player (i.e., the player sitting at the right of the mated player) both lose.

The set was sold together with Trio-dam: a draughts version for three players that could be played on the backside. This set was bought by my father in a shop in the Netherlands, many years ago.

These photo's were made with a camera from an SGI workstation.
