Photo's of Thai Chess Set

Below, you can see some photo's of a Thai Chess (Makruk) set. The set (from Thailand) has a paper board and pastic pieces. The set was bought from a Thai online shop, which unfortunately now is out of business.

Select a photo to enlarge it. Note the difference is sizes of the pieces. While it is possible to play standard chess with this set, Thai Chess (Makruk) has some differences in rules; e.g., pawns are on the third row in the opening setup.
